为推动社区公共治理问题的学术研究，深圳大学当代中国政治研究所拟于2005年8月13－14日举办“城市社区公共治理”国际学术研讨会。会议具体议题如下：
1、社区治理的网络结构；
2、政府在城市社区公共治理中的角色和作用；
3、城市社区居民委员会、业主委员会、物业公司和其他社区组织之间的公共关系；
4、城市社区公共物品的供给机制；
5、城市社区社会资本培育；
6、城市社区中的社会选举制度（居委会选举、业委会选举及其他社区组织内部的选举问题）；
7、和谐社会构建与社区治理；
8、“村改居”后的社区治理。
欢迎对上述议题感兴趣的国内外学者赐稿。本所在收到稿件后将邀请投稿者与会。稿件截至日期为2005年6月10日。

Call for papers
Contemporary Chinese Politics Research Institute, Shenzhen University is inviting papers for the International conference on Public Governance in Urban Communities during August 13-14, 2005. We welcome papers from both academics and practitioners that use both theoretical and applied research. Although conference topis are open, some possible topics include:
The network structure for the public governance;
The role of government in the public governance in urban communities;
The mechanism for the supply of public goods in urban communities;
The development of social capital in urban communities.
For the contributors both from China and abroad whose papers are accepted will be invited to attend the conference. The expense (including food and lodging) will be covered during the conference.
